About the Family

With roots that span back to the Lewellyn Wagon train, Krissa and Scott with their three children are passionate about embracing the lifestyle of producing quality wine in the vineyard. They hope to share that art with travelers and locals alike.

Padre Red

Chardonnay

A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc & Merlot from our estate. Aromas of black cherry, currant supported by spicy and smoky hints of nutmeg and white pepper. The palate reveals blueberry, black plum and black cherry enhanced by a creamy mid-palate and silky tannins.

Released: May 2011

Luscious flavors reminiscent of green apples, lemons, and pineapple structured beautifully by a creamy, silky mouthfeel and bright rounded acids.

Realease Date: Memorial Day 2011

Pinot Noir

100% Pinot Noir from our Windridge Vineyard located out in the Illinois Valley. Bright raspberry, sweet herbs & white pepper, accented by a hint of vanilla & dry cocoa powder to the finish.

Rose

This pale pink rosé is crafted solely from Syrah grapes, producing a crisp, dry rosé with plenty of concentrated red berry fruit and a touch of citrus on the edge. With the juicy flavors of strawberry and cranberry on the fore palate and bright acids make it simply delicious for summer!

Realease Date: Memorial Day 2011

Syrah

100% Syrah from our estate. Spicy berry fruit and toasty oak on the nose with a rich palate of black fruits. Spicy plums and hints of tobacco provide a lingering finish.

Up on a ridge overlooking the estate is where we are building our new tasting room to better serve our visitors. We hope to complete construction by summer of 2012.

In the meantime, we will be offering the Serra Vineyard experience either on our covered picnic patio or in the estate tasting room. We would like to invite you to come out and enjoy the property, see our next evolution happen before your eyes & enjoy a tasting of our delicious wines.

With our new & existing tasting facilities, we have designed several private spaces for you to enjoy your closest friends and loved ones, along with our fine wines. With panoramic views of the spectacular Applegate Valley, we hope to share in your celebrations and help create your next magical moment.

With our tasting patio & picnic areas, Serra Vineyards is a beautiful place to celebrate the Southern Oregon outdoors on your special day. Our new tasting room with vista views is scheduled to be completed by summer of 2012 and it's never to early to be thinking of where you might host your upcoming occassion!

Spring Uncorked

Join the Applegate Valley Vintners this May from 11am to 5pm for their annual Spring UnCorked Barrel Tour!

Each of the wineries in the spectacular Applegate Valley will be putting on the ritz for you as they feature appetizer pairings specifically matched to some of the best wines from each estate. Come kick off your Winetrail touring season in style and be the first to experience the year's new releases and barrel tastings directly from the wineries.

Tickets are $39 per person and will include a commemorative wine glass food samples and wine tasting here at the wineries. This is a great time of the year to taste the nationally and internationally recognized wines of the Applegate Valley!

This State of Jefferson holiday tradition features over 35 Oregon wineries pouring premium vintages as well as fine restaurants and caterers serving delectable hors d'oeuvres and confections. This year's event is again generously sponsored by the Ashland Food Co-op and we welcome our new sponsor American Family Insurance. The evening features a Not-So-Silent Auction hosted by Geoffrey Riley and live music by Pachanga! and The Charles Guy/Crystal Reeves Quartet, playing acoustic fusion with flamenco flair. Ticket prices are $45 for members and $50 for non-members and are available at the Ashland Food Co-op and the new Medford Food Co-op.
